About Us

Goodest Girl was founded by me (Liz) and inspired by the goodest of girls, Dusty Pickles. 🥒

Dusty had a tough start to life. She and her littermates were surrendered at around 3 weeks old and taken in by Lea Valley Dog Rescue. They were underweight, filled with worms and had been so neglected. Helping foster the dinky pups, I fell in love with Dusty girl.

She’s a fun, confident and loving girly and we soon became the best of friends. She has the biggest heart and loves everyone she meets, I couldn’t imagine my life without her. I adopted Dusty and took her home on my birthday, the best gift ever.

Dusty comes everywhere with our family. School run, Starbucks, shopping and of course the pub. Nothing better than a pup at the pub! 🥂

How We Started

As soon as Dusty came home, I couldn’t wait to start building her pawdrobe 🎀 I wanted frilly, romanticised and girly dog accessories! Functional but fashionable dog harnesses and leash sets that matched mine and Dusty's personality and quirky little ruffs, collars and bibs that are cute but comfy.

I would search for specific prints, patterns or styles that just aren't out there readily made. There is some really beautiful stuff out there but I could never find exactly what I was looking for. Dusty and all our pups deserve to look as fabulous as they make us feel, which is why I started Goodest Girl. ✨
